Serving the communities of Greythorn & Balwyn North,we are an Evangelical Anglican Church within the low church tradition of the Anglican Church of Australia.

We believe our common life is based on the foundation of the cross of Jesus Christ. Jesus died on a cross as our substitute to reconcile us to God the Father. His death covers every corner of our lives with His forgiveness, love and grace, and we respond to him with thankfulness, submitting every aspect of our lives to his Lordship.

We are committed to the Bible as the word of God, and we seek to live as a community of God’s people who want to let God through his Spirit and his word shape and direct who we are.

We are a group of people who want to put Jesus in the centre of our community. St Stephen’s is committed to ensuring that people do not get lost in the crowd.
