Moving along ‘Main Street’ can be exciting and busy but we sometimes need to turn a corner in our lives to see what is going on just nearby. Sometimes we are blinded by the bright lights, the busy life styles and the traffic of ‘Main Street’.
Turning a corner can give us a view of a different way of life, an opportunity to rest awhile and catch our breath. Life can also throw unexpected ‘corners’ at us, too. Sometimes this can be a good experience, sometimes not so positive!
‘The church around the corner’ offers a place where friendship, reflection and connection with God can take place. Somewhere to ‘catch your breath’ and get back in touch with things that are important to the human heart.
The church around the corner is based on the foundation of the cross of Jesus Christ. A cross is the joining place of every corner and the arms of the cross stretch out in every direction. Jesus died on a cross, to cover every corner of our lives with His love and grace.
