$10 Bibles for local families.

St Stephen’s is seeking to provide families in our community with good modern translations of the bible suitable for contemporary family use, subsidized to an affordable price.

The Jesus Story Book Bible is a retelling of Bible stories that is ideal for reading to toddlers and junior primary. This is the version we use for our preschool program.

The Global Bible for Children uses the ‘Contemporary English Version’. This is the translation used in school CRE classes and for Children’s ministry at St Stephen’s. It is perfect for confident readers in upper primary.

The Today’s New International Version is the most up to date translation available today, reflecting the best in biblical and ancient language scholarship. This version is widely used in churches, including St Stephen’s, and is suitable for adult readers.

$10 each. For further information, or to request a bible, contact Rod Morris, Senior Minister at St Stephen’s using the email link on the contact us page

Our innovative new service for families and primary school age children celebrates it first anniversary with both a birthday party and the commencement of an increased range of kid’s club activities.

We commenced on 9th May 2009 and our Saturday@5 community celebrates it’s first anniversary with a party at our service at 5pm on Saturday 8th May 2010.

As the congregation grows, we are restructuring our children’s program to include a focused teaching time for preschoolers, junior primary, and senior primary children. These three groups use the ‘Kid’s in church’ curriculum and resources, and are proving to be a great success with the kid’s.
