AT ST STEPHEN’S WE HOLD SERVICES AT THESE REGULAR TIMES

Saturday 5.00 pm - A contemporary service for children, parents and younger adults. People are encouraged to come as they are, and children participate in the service. There is a kid’s talk and kid’s club program using the ‘Kid’s@Church’ curriculum materials. A light meal is served for children.

Sunday 8.00 am - A traditional celebration of the Lord’s Supper using the Anglican Prayer Book of Australia, with no music and a concise sermon. There is no children’s program at this service time.

Sunday 9.30 am - Modern Anglican Worship. A Service using various service formats with both traditional hymns and modern songs. We alternate Morning prayer and the Lord’s Supper. There is a children’s talk each week and kid’s club program for children.

Sunday 4.00 pm  - Afternoon Service in Chinese, with children’s program included.

PREACHING PROGRAM

We are committed to the regular exposition of scripture at all our services and our sermons and kid’s talks are based on the key bible passage each each.

The 8.00am, 9.30 am & Saturday@Five services each share a common preaching program, whilst the 4.00 pm Chinese service have their own programs.

We are committed to regularly reflecting on all of the bible, and to examining key doctrinal and topical issues. In 2010 our program includes the 2nd Epistle of Peter, the Gospel of Luke, The letter to the Colossians, The book of Judges, & the prophet Obadiah.
